I’m asian and I can get pretty pale too. People make fun of me all the time for being pale comparing me to a ghost and shit and that’s totally fine you know? I honestly think it’s hilarious. My t shirt tan can get so bad that when I take my shirt off at the beach people be like why u still wearing a shirt? But you have to realize that that is completely different from calling me or other Asians yellow.
I have 1 2 Switch and I had fun with it at a few parties. People tend to want to play it up to three times or so before the novelty of it all wears off. I still happy I have it because if I ever run into anyone that hasn played it yet, it a fun game to showcase some of the more niche things the Switch can do.
I really dislike many of the regulations and barriers being put in place in Canada and the US, but the truth is we are the last bastion. We have been trying, partially through regulation, partially through socioeconomics, to slow our impact on climate change but the damage has been done by places like china and india to the point where it really too late. They have ruined the environment completely in their countries and if it werent for western society giving half a shit the world would already be experiencing the scary post apocalypse reality that has been predicted by so many climate scientists..
I wish people such as the OP would post the title to the article place their opinions in the form of a rant inside of the thread. I wish the moderators of /r/politics/ would act in some way to stop personal pulpit titles. I say this not only because such behavior ignores reddiquette, which may not be enforced as strict rules, only serves merely to guide redditors reddit to function competently, but because I had no clue that the article was mainly about light bulbs almost skipped over it.
My colleague Martin Morrow enjoyed it tremendously. (If you haven’t read Charles Portis’ book, you’re cheating yourself out of experiencing an American classic. No hyperbole.) Because it’s so faithful to its source, True Grit contains long stretches of wonderfully rococo language, which I thought would alienate the hoi polloi.
